The Daily Scrum is a small meeting that happens at the same place and time each day. At the end of every meeting, the team reviews work that was completed on the earlier day and plans what work need to do in the next 24 hours. In the daily scrum team meeting, members speak up about any problems which may become the obstacle to the project completion.@media(max-width: 499px) .content61 min-height: 100px !important; @media(min-width: 500px) .content61 min-height: 91px !important; if (typeof(pubwise) != 'undefined' && pubwise.enabled === true) pubwise.que.push(function() pubwise.renderAd('div-gpt-ad-9092914-6'); ); else googletag.cmd.push(function () googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-9092914-6'); googletag.pubads().refresh([gptadslots['div-gpt-ad-9092914-6']]); ); Sprint Planning Meeting
[ ALM] Is which better KANBAN or SCRUM
Some agile teams have adopted mixed methodologies to support how their team works. For example, scrumban takes fixed length sprints and roles from scrum and the focus on WIP (work in progress) limits and cycle time from kanban. Or kanplan, which is kanban with a backlog. Jira Software features can be mixed up to help these teams without constraints of their tools.
Essentially, Kanban helps visualize, manage, and monitor workflows in software development, thus enabling the better management of resources. The basis of Kanban is a virtual or physical cardboard, the columns of which represent certain stages of work. Cards (imagine them like post-it notes) represent pieces of work as they pass through the various stages of the workflow. In a software development environment, columns may represent the following categories: to do, in progress, to be verified, complete. That said, Kanban boards can be simply customized for your own work environment. Further horizontal rows (swimlanes) may be added to provide more granularity and thus help the filtering and monitoring of work items (for instance, filtering by assigned teams or team members, therefore enabling commitment tracking). 2ff7e9595c
