Texture packs usually cost US$2.99 each or equivalent to 490, however trial versions are available. On the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, some of the newer Mash-Up packs are not available, along with exclusive content for Sony and Microsoft platforms.

the problem is when my son go to load his game and he can use the texture packs as before but he just cannot save , and the system prompting that it's trial texture pack. I've tried, both in game and on play station store, to download the city pack that I bought, but it still won't load. I restart the ps3, log into different accounts, try creating new games, but nothing seems to work. I have no idea what else to do.

Coming less than a month after a series of Uncharted, Killzone and Heavy Rain skins made their way to the PS3 version of Minecraft, the Xbox 360 version has received a texture pack that will turn the game's already-colorful world into the second coming of Candyland. Eschewing its bright colors for tasty-looking pastels, it looks like it could be the perfect way to supplement a weekend spent gorging on Easter chocolate.
While one might assume that a candy-themed texture pack would eliminate some of the game's darker elements, in some cases the opposite is actually true. In particular, the gingerbread Villager and cookie Enderman provide a sufficient degree of nightmare fuel. Something about their soulless, gumdrop eyes is profoundly unsettling. With the act of changing texture packs being so simple for PC users, opening up some of the higher-quality packs to console players is a brilliant move on the part of Mojang and 4J Studios. For a game that places such a focus on providing players with a sandbox to experiment with, the ability to change up the game's visual style to match the sandbox accordingly is an under-appreciated addition that more sandbox games could take a cue from.

While the 1.04 update is quite a huge change with multiple new features and additions in it, the company also released a bunch of four different texture and skin packs. One of them titled the Skin Pack 1 is a great addition for ardent Sony console fans. Those who love some exclusive characters like Sly Cooper or Nathan Drake will now have the opportunity to dress up as them to play in Minecraft.
